COMPANY

For fifty years, Curvarredo has been transforming plywood into curved components of high aesthetic and functional value: seats and backrests for chairs and armchairs, shells, bed headboards, cot elements and much more.

We serve the office, contract, home & kids furniture sectors, offering bespoke solutions that combine industrial precision with artisan sensitivity.

Our lean structure allows us to move quickly from idea to prototype, and from prototype to production run. This is why many national and international brands have chosen us as a strategic partner for chairs, tables and furnishing accessories.

Italian curves
that give shape to your ideas

“We are a company that believes in the value of people, uncompromising quality and sustainable innovation. Our mission is to turn your ideas into reality, supplying curved wood components that exceed every expectation in terms of design, functionality and durability.”

Know-how that grows with people

The real "driving force" behind Curvarredo is expertise: technicians and craftsmen with over thirty years' experience work alongside young specialists and embrace new design concepts.

Driven by continuous research into FSC®-certified wood species, low- and zero-emission adhesives and eco-friendly finishes, we evolve shapes and processes to deliver components that are increasingly lightweight, sustainable and durable. The result is a curve reproducible to the millimetre, ready to pass the most rigorous tests and reduce our customers’ assembly times.

Our origins

Fifty years of history and innovation

1976 – 1980 The beginnings

Curvarredo srl was founded in 1976 in Chiopris Viscone (UD) as a small workshop specialising in hot-pressing plywood. In 1980 it moved to its current location in San Vito al Torre (UD), occupying 2,000 m² in the heart of the “Chair Triangle”.

1990s Growth and process integration

An expansion of a further 1,000 m² made it possible to add edge profiling and sanding to pressing, offering semi-finished products ready for coating or upholstery. The reliability demonstrated in the Friuli district opened up the first commercial opportunities in Italy and abroad.

2000 – 2010 New facility and automation

Increasing demand led to the construction of a second 3,000 m² building adjacent to the first. This housed CNC machining centres and sanding stations, enabling efficient management of medium-to-large production runs for the office, contract and home sectors.

2010 – Today Sustainability and certifications

As demand and production capacity have grown, sustainability has become daily practice. Today Curvarredo combines fifty years of experience with CNC technology and a concrete commitment to quality and the environment.

Sustainability and certifications

Our concrete commitment to the environment is expressed through investments and certifications that guarantee responsible production.
