Rigorous selection of raw materials
Our excellence begins with the careful choice of materials.
We select only the finest wood species (beech, birch, poplar, oak, maple) from forests or plantations managed in an eco-sustainable way according to FSC® principles and criteria. Our extensive experience and deep knowledge of wood enable us to assess its quality, from seasoning to physical characteristics, to ensure that every plywood panel is perfect for bending and maintains its properties over time.

Bending
After being cut to size, the sheets are glued into plywood and shaped into the desired form using high-frequency hot pressing. At this stage we use low-formaldehyde adhesives and melamine-based ones, the latter suitable for outdoor products.
The bending department has twenty-one high-frequency or hydraulic presses: by applying the appropriate pressure and heat to each individual project, we create precise and stable curves that maintain their shape over time.

Over 700 moulds ready to use
We have an archive of over 700 ready-to-use moulds, tested and immediately available. This heritage allows us to quickly meet numerous standard requirements, offering reliable solutions and guaranteeing customers maximum efficiency in choosing the most suitable shape..

Our real strength lies in our ability to engineer completely bespoke moulds for the customer's project. This allows us to translate any idea, even the most complex or innovative, into a perfectly executed curved wood component, offering unprecedented design freedom.

Finishing: raw or sanded?
Every Curvarredo curved component goes through a careful edge profiling and sanding phase, preparing the surface for subsequent processing or finishes to guarantee a product that is flawless to both touch and sight.
CNC technology: millimetre precision for complex machining
Employing numerically controlled (CNC) equipment allows us to carry out complex, high-precision operations that would be impossible to achieve with traditional methods. From cutting to drilling, CNC machines guarantee speed, repeatability and millimetre accuracy, opening up new possibilities for design and customisation.

Custom hardware assembly
At the customer’s request, Curvarredo offers a hardware fitting service directly on our curved components, along with consultation on the most suitable product to apply. This integration enables us to supply a semi-finished or finished component, reducing assembly time for the customer and simplifying logistics.
